Godzilla is a truly interesting animal as he has the size of a dinosaur, the facial features of a synasid {Depending on the incarnation}, the life style of a crocodile, the emotions of a human and the diet of certain species of fungi. He is a remarkable organism that we can all agree on. But one large question about the big guy is what is he? Some think he is a Dinosaur, others say a Synapsid, some think he is a giant mutated iguana{Gino}. But I personally believe Godzilla is a Reptilomorph as he has several traits of both Reptile and Amphibian. While he did have scaly skin before the bombs, he still has gills and also has an axolotl like healing as he was able to heal being sliced in half by Destoroyah's katana horn and able to survive being melted by Hedorah. His origins are mostly always prehistoric as he is usually some mutated prehistoric relic in a modern age to show the folly of man. But thats why I think Godzilla is a Reptilomorph, what do you think Godzilla's taxon is?
